Rather than make several dozen abortive attempts to blog consistently, I skipped over the inevitable fits and starts the events of the last year would have – and did – exert by writing nothing here. The routinized convulsive (regular irregularity, like flailing seizures set off perfunctorily, as if by stopwatch) rhythm of tidily drawn up but swiftly abandoned “schedules” stretches over the bow of the horizon of adult life by the look of it, so there’s no more appropriate time than now to turn off here in permanent hiatus, or begin afresh. This post suggests the latter path.
So what have I been doing, that bears mention here, anyway? Trading, reading, observing, testing, studying, chipping back the pall of those peculiar vices fatal to all trying to take money out of the market if left unexcised (mixing metaphors, I know). In so many words, the cleanly delineated, excruciating and unglamorous work no trader can neglect. At least, I’ve been doing that when I haven’t been mentally inert or necessarily preoccupied, the first often induced by too much of the second.
I’ll continue to do everything I mentioned I’ve been doing, with plans (that are as anti-tentative as I can make them) to cover it and all other things that seem marginally worthwhile (some non-trading-related), as determined by the nebulous subjective criteria imposed by my cat.
